The Cockburn Basketball Association is welcoming a game changer.
The Prestige Honda Cockburn Cougars are proud to announce the addition of Perth Wildcat and Australian Boomers squad member Clint Steindl to the men’s State Basketball League program.
Fresh off his first season with the Perth Wildcats, Steindl stands for everything the Cougar Family represents on and off the court.
With a National Basketball League career average of 40% from the perimeter, he will be a welcome addition to a Cougar squad already boasting some of the league’s best local contingent.
Alongside Cougar Captain, MVP contender and three-time SBL All-Star Gavin Field, Steindl will provide a match-up headache for opposition teams.
Add in import Brandon Sebirumbi and talented locals Julian Pesava, Seva Chan and Jake Knight, you’re looking at an imposing Cougar line-up for the remainder of the 2018 season.
The Perth Wildcats have a proud history of bringing in talent of quality character, and the Cougar Family paints itself with that same brush.
Steindl makes his debut in Cougar colours this Saturday night away against the East Perth Eagles, followed by his first game in front of a Sea of Blue this Sunday as they take on the Willetton Tigers.
