Schwagmayer Named SBL MVP
2018 WSBL Most Valuable Player – Alison Schwagmeyer (Lakeside Lightning)
Ali Schwagmeyer becomes just the second player in the League’s history to three-peat, the only other being Sami Whitcomb between 2013-2015.
Since 2016, Schwagmeyer has dominated the league and has showed no sign of slowing, posting averages of 23 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists per game, on 48% shooting. Her Lightning finished the season 22 and 1, on the back of eighteen 20-plus point games.
