Former SBL and NBL referee David Bull has been elected by the SBL Clubs as the newest member to join the SBL Commission on a 2-year term.

David is well known in the basketball community following a 23-year career as an SBL official, seeing him named referee of the year six times and officiate a significant number of SBL Grand Finals. David also officiated in the NBL and WNBL for 14 years and has represented WA at all under age national championships.

David is passionate about education and development having run the State’s high performance program for 6 years, facilitated intensive coaching sessions at the AIS and assisting in the development and implementation of elite referee education programs.

David’s professional career has seen him leading diverse teams of professionals, setting strategic direction and leading governance activities for complex organisations.

On behalf of Basketball WA, we are excited to have David join the SBL Commission and look forward to seeing what his experience will bring to the organisation.
