A well-rounded performance by Lasher has seen the Geraldton Buccaneers’ double-header road trip result in two wins, taking them to equal 2nd on the 2018 SBL ladder.
The first came Saturday night at Willetton Basketball Stadium, as the Lasher contributed 26 points, 7 rebounds and 2 blocks, on 80% shooting. Lasher’s impact was visible with a +/- of 21, the best of any player in the game.
Following the 107-84 victory Saturday, the Buccs were forced to back it up 12 hours later against a fast-paced Eastern Suns outfit at Ray Owen. Lasher showed no signs of fatigue as he managed 35 points, 9 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals, shooting extremely efficiently again at 73%.
A similar score line of 108-88 against the Eastern Suns made the trip back to Geraldton that much easier, as they now look ahead to a top of the table clash against the Joondalup Wolves. That match-up promises to provide, with two very similar styled teams fighting it out Saturday 7:30PM @ Active West Stadium.
